Hey mom so far i am doing great! umm so things you can send me are candy, pictures, and i forgot to bring my removable retainer in case my permanent one breaks. if you want you can send me my magic cards.
Oh yeah tell kandis to write me.(because she is mean and hasn't sent me a letter) we have time on p day to play them. so as you know our flight was super delayed it was a miracle that we made it onto our flight to toronto because we made it to the airplane like a whole hour after the flight was suppose to leave.so my first week in the mission field was amazing! I loved everything last week we did a lot of street contacting i have probably talked to about 100+ people. so this week when we went to teach the wu family there dad was totally ready to get baptised. but his wife was not sure. he said he has to wait for his wife because they do everything together. but this week their whole family came to church. this was a huge thing becasue their son george hates trying new things. he is also blind. me and elder sommerfeldt thought of a way he could reconize his class and his primary room because he cant read braile yet. we are going to put a felt circle on the primary room and like a felt square on his classroom so he can be more comfortable. but yeah his older siblings said that they loved church. we are hoping to get them baptised because there havent been any new converts here for a year and a half. so we have a lot of work to do. also i really liked sacrament meeting a lot. at the mtc i hated sacrament because there were no little kids. i like hearing little kids alot it is very peaceful to me for some reason. also onm saturday we taught a lady named elizabeth. she has had a lot of problems in her life and to me would be the last person ever to show up at church. But she did. it was like a miracle. i had to sit by her during sacrament meeting. funny story is that she feel asleep during sacrament and started snoreing so i nudged her awake them later on in the meeting she feel asleep and feel over on my shoulder. i nudged her off really quick and elder sommerfeldt and the wu family just brusted out laughing. it was quite funny and great for a first week of church. Also we had an investagator named kira come to church with us. he is from shang hi and is trying to figure out if god is real. i answered all of his questions during class. me and elder sommerfeldt went with him to family night. this family night was for all the other young single adults in the ward. i learned alot about him there well we were playing games. he used to work at apple. and knows how to fix ipods and laptops and i pads, and all sorts of other cool sicence stuff. but the coolest thing was that he got a 60% off discount on all apple things. so he has everything apple. he has a cool watchband for his i pod nano. the one i have. also we were able to teach rhonda this week the one that looks like sa-lean-D-on. she wasnt able to come to church because she had to work. the mission appartment is big and it has a washer and dryer! so i already finished my wash yeasterday! the town is really awesome and the members are really supportive of us. last week we had dinner every night except for once. so pretty much im not gonna lose any weight here. but elder sommerfeldt said that is his last area he only got feed 3 times the whole 6 weeks he was there. so pretty much i got into a super lucky area. the people are awesome even though there hasnt been any converts for a long time. but hey im loving it here i hope everyone is doing awesome i lover you all.
